Blog for Quilty - TF

So I know how to read and post to other blogs, but decided to learn how to have my own blog.  We will see how sucessful of a project that is.  If anyone sees this and knows of a site that is easy to use for learning how to blog, please let me know.

  1. Hi Terry,
welcome to blog land. I learnt by just doing it, and the more you do the more you learn. All of the ladies are really helpful with little tips, also if you have a different email address from your work one let me know as I have sent the cushion swap there and got a out of office message back.

  2. Sue I am on vacation but have access to my work email and have seen that I get to make a hot pink and blue cushion cover. OH THE POSSIBILITIES!

  3. Terry, sorry to butt in but I'm Maria who made the hexie cushion that you commented on, on Sue's blog. I don't think it has a name but I'll see if I can find a link to another blog where I got the inspiration from to use long hexagons. As you are a 'no reply blogger', I'll come back here when I find it :-), unless you use the email button on my profile page to contact me.

  4. Hi Terry
I'm back again. Here's the link

When I finished the cushion I realised that I had absentmindedly 'set' the shapes differently this time so that the middle squares are straight and not on the point. Luckily it still looked ok as I didn't have time to re do the cushion.

    1. I am just trying to put together this blogspot. I haven't quite got it yet. I don't want to be a "no reply" blogger, but haven't found all the different things.

Anyway, thats so much for this pattern, I love it!

  5. There is no "easy" way. You just sort of have to get in there and do it.

I am currently "teaching" a friend to start up her new blog, so if you have any EASY questions, feel free to ask. She probably already has asked it!
